To launch the Android Flip5, Google called on an icon with a Y2K legacy as epic as the flip phone: Kimora Lee Simmons’ Baby Phat.
And, just as the Flip5 updates a beloved throwback style, so did the label’s heirs, Aoki and Ming Lee Simmons, who starred in our hero video and designed a Y2K-inspired collection.
The Y2K Core campaign flipped every KPI set forth, including an 8.1% lift in product consideration above Google’s benchmarks, 77.7+ MM total impressions (44% over-delivery), and coverage in High Snobiety and ESSENCE.
